Of people we have met

Drifting through our lives

We pick and choose

Different attributes we want to keep

And what we will give away

To the next lost soul that comes

Into our ever-changing lives

If you think about it,

It’s really quite beautiful

To be one thing yet a million

Think about what part of yourself

You’ll give the next person you meet

And maybe you’ll think or act

a little kinder

a little smarter
